ZoneView processes webpage images, videos and Canvas content locally in your browser to display an SDR false-color exposure visualization. It does not operate a server, transmit media or browsing data to the developer, use analytics, serve ads, or require an account.

When you activate the extension, it temporarily accesses the current page and eligible same-origin frames. It inspects media elements and their displayed dimensions, applies browser rendering filters, and reads the tab title and URL to identify the current page in the panel and reference an in-page filter. These are used on-device and are not uploaded or saved as browsing history. The extension does not extract pixel data or record audio or video.

Exposure offset, media scope and legend preferences are stored using Chrome local extension storage. Per-tab activation and comparison settings are stored in Chrome session storage and cleared when the tab is closed or navigates/reloads, or when the browser session ends. Local preferences remain until removed by Chrome, for example when you uninstall the extension. ZoneView does not use Chrome sync storage.

All executable code, translations and icons are bundled with the extension. No remote executable code or third-party tracking services are used. The included test media is generated in the browser. Websites you visit may independently use their own network requests and privacy practices; ZoneView does not control those sites.

The permissions are limited to activeTab (temporary access after you invoke the extension), scripting (apply local rendering filters), and storage (save local preferences and temporary state). The extension does not sell or share user data with third parties.

ZoneView's use of information is limited to providing its visible false-color features and follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It does not use information for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness or lending, and the developer does not receive or inspect webpage content through the extension.

代码、翻译与图标随安装包提供，无远程执行代码或第三方追踪服务。测试素材在浏览器内生成。用户访问的网站可能有自己的网络请求和隐私政策，这些不受 ZoneView 控制。

权限限于 activeTab（用户主动调用后的临时访问）、scripting（应用本地渲染滤镜）和 storage（保存本地偏好与临时状态）。扩展不向第三方出售或分享用户数据。
